Pat Forester Training

Welcome
Brief description of who I am..
My name is Pat Forester and I am an FRC/FRA certified mobility specialist, Kinstretch instructor, and manual training practitioner. I offer a variety of services ranging from simple movement coaching, to performance enhancement and injury prevention. My coaching capabilities are applicable to anyone, regardless of age and/or level of experience. I was born and raised in Maryland, and attended Salisbury University where I received my bachelors degree in exercise science. Since then, I have immersed myself in the health and wellness community for over 14 years. To put it plainly, mobility and training is my life.
"I've developed a passion for sharing what I love to do. As a trainer, it is important to have a mutual understanding with your clients about goals and principles. That way I can cater my training to better suit them, while simultaneously, they have more trust in the learning process."

FRA
The "physical, physical"
The FRA is a measurement-based system used to assess an individual's movement capacity for each joint. It provides objective data on how well a person can move, identifying areas of restriction, weakness, or asymmetry. This information helps guide personalized training and rehabilitation programs through root cause analysis to improve movement quality and reduce injury risk.

Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) are exercises that focus on actively moving a joint through its full range of motion while maintaining strict control over the movement. They aim to improve both flexibility and strength by engaging the muscles and connective tissue surrounding the joints. Doing CARS reduces stiffness, stimulates blood flow, improves joint lubrication, and supports the body's natural healing process. They are a beneficial training tool for health, longevity, performance, and injury mitigation.

Hear What Others Have to Say
“I found Pat while rehabbing from a total knee replacement. I had done the standard/prescribed PT pre & post-surgery, but was not regaining my range of motion. Not willing to accept “this is as good as it gets” I sought an alternative. I am so glad I did. Pat’s approach is thoughtful and highly customized by client. He fully explains the movement and the impact on the surrounding joints – not only have we worked on knee mobility, but also foot, ankle and hip mobility. My ranges of motion have greatly improved both in the surgical and non-surgical knee (bonus!) I’ve gotta say he brings his “A-game” to each session with new exercises every time. Pat cares deeply about his clients planning the sessions and thinking through execution from a 360 degree perspective. The combination of Pat & Kinstretch have been a total game changer for me.”
I would like to take a moment to thank Pat for the excellent training sessions he provided. Before I started training with him, I was in severe pain while walking due to knee pain. However, after attending Pat's sessions, his guidance, motivation, and tailored exercises brought a significant improvement to my condition. His coaching helped me regain my mobility, and I feel like a new person. Pat's enthusiasm and positive attitude made the experience enjoyable and engaging. He is a great instructor who is patient, clearly explains all the exercises, and takes the time to correct each individual during the sessions. I am very glad I attended his training, as it has made a huge impact on my daily life.
