Pat Forester Training

Welcome
Brief description of who I am..
My name is Pat Forester, and I am an FRC/FRA-certified mobility specialist, Kinstretch instructor, and personal trainer specializing in mobility-focused and longevity-based movement coaching. I provide movement coaching focused on improving joint health, restoring mobility, enhancing performance, and supporting injury prevention.
My work is designed to meet people where they are — whether someone is beginning their movement journey, returning from injury, or looking to maintain strength and independence as they age. My coaching approach is adaptable and applicable to individuals of all ages and experience levels.
Born and raised in Maryland, I attended Salisbury University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Over the past 15+ years, I have immersed myself in the health and wellness field, continually refining my understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and stays resilient over time.
Simply put, mobility and training are not just my profession — they are my lifelong passion.
"I've developed a passion for sharing what I love to do. As a trainer, it is important to have a mutual understanding with your clients about goals and principles. That way I can cater my training to better suit them, while simultaneously, they have more trust in the learning process."

Certified Kinstretch Instructor
Kinstretch® is a movement system designed to improve how your joints move, feel, and function.
Unlike traditional stretching or exercise classes, Kinstretch focuses on active mobility — teaching you how to control your joints through their full, usable range of motion. This builds stronger joints, better balance, improved body awareness, and long-term resilience.
Every class emphasizes:
-
Joint health and longevity
-
Strength at end ranges of motion
-
Improved balance and coordination
-
Reduced stiffness and joint discomfort
-
Greater confidence in everyday movement
FRA

A Functional Range Assessment (FRA) is a one-on-one evaluation of how your joints move and how much control you have over that movement.
We assess your active range of motion to identify limitations, imbalances, and compensation patterns that may affect comfort, performance, or long-term joint health.
The FRA helps create a personalized mobility plan so you can move with greater confidence, efficiency, and resilience.

Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) — slow, intentional movements that act like “daily maintenance” for your joints. These movements help nourish joint tissue, improve communication between your brain and body, and restore lost movement capacity over time.

“After my total knee replacement, I wasn’t regaining range of motion despite completing standard PT. Pat’s thoughtful, highly personalized approach addressed not just my knee, but my foot, ankle, and hip mobility as well. My range of motion has improved in both knees, and every session is carefully planned and effective. Pat and Kinstretch have truly been a game changer for me.”

“Living with scoliosis caused years of pain and stiffness, and I wanted to avoid back surgery. Working with Pat and Kinstretch gradually improved my mobility, reduced pain, and even led to a 5+ degree reduction in my spinal curvature — something my doctors said is rare. Pat’s personalized, thoughtful approach truly changed my health and how my body moves.”
- Christina M.
“Kinstretch has been a catalyst for me to take action on maintaining maximum mobility as I age. Pat is an excellent coach who explains the exercises clearly and demonstrates them with options for modifications to make the class accessible for all.”

“Since attending Kinstretch for about 2 years, my range of motion has improved, it's made it easier to keep active, along with my overall wellbeing. I appreciate Pat's dedication and obvious caring/motivation for all participants, as well as the information he shares about what we're doing and why we're doing it.”

“Patrick has a way of explaining the movements as well as the importance and purpose for this training that is easy to understand and apply in my daily routine. It is a form of training that I have not seen anywhere else and I tell everyone I know how much I value it.”
