Welcome

Brief description of who I am..

My name is Pat Forester and I am an FRC/FRA certified mobility specialist, Kinstretch instructor, and manual training practitioner. I offer a variety of services ranging from simple movement coaching, to performance enhancement and injury prevention. My coaching capabilities are applicable to anyone, regardless of age and/or level of experience. I was born and raised in Maryland, and attended Salisbury University where I received my bachelors degree in exercise science. Since then, I have immersed myself in the health and wellness community for over 14 years. To put it plainly, mobility and training is my life.

"I've developed a passion for sharing what I love to do. As a trainer, it is important to have a mutual understanding with your clients about goals and principles. That way I can cater my training to better suit them, while simultaneously, they have more trust in the learning process."

FRA

The "physical, physical"

The FRA is a measurement-based system used to assess an individual's movement capacity for each joint. It provides objective data on how well a person can move, identifying areas of restriction, weakness, or asymmetry. This information helps guide personalized training and rehabilitation programs through root cause analysis to improve movement quality and reduce injury risk.

Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) are exercises that focus on actively moving a joint through its full range of motion while maintaining strict control over the movement. They aim to improve both flexibility and strength by engaging the muscles and connective tissue surrounding the joints. Doing CARS reduces stiffness, stimulates blood flow, improves joint lubrication, and supports the body's natural healing process. They are a beneficial training tool for health, longevity, performance, and injury mitigation.

Hear What Others Have to Say

“I found Pat while rehabbing from a total knee replacement. I had done the standard/prescribed PT pre & post-surgery, but was not regaining my range of motion. Not willing to accept “this is as good as it gets” I sought an alternative. I am so glad I did. Pat’s approach is thoughtful and highly customized by client. He fully explains the movement and the impact on the surrounding joints – not only have we worked on knee mobility, but also foot, ankle and hip mobility. My ranges of motion have greatly improved both in the surgical and non-surgical knee (bonus!) I’ve gotta say he brings his “A-game” to each session with new exercises every time. Pat cares deeply about his clients planning the sessions and thinking through execution from a 360 degree perspective. The combination of Pat & Kinstretch have been a total game changer for me.”

“As a child, I was diagnosed with double major curve scoliosis. It continued to get worse through the years and I was in pain and stiff most days. I have fought to not have back surgery to install metal rods in my back. I wanted to find something more holistic to get more mobility in my body, especially my neck, upper back, and lower back.

“I was introduced to Pat with Kinstretch 1.5 years ago by my primary care doctor.  I tried a introductory class one Saturday morning and felt this is something I could do. It was baby steps at first as he had to help me learn to walk properly again.  We started with my toes and feet and over the next 1.5 years we worked our way up through the entire body. Every step along with way, he explained the reasoning behind each stretch or exercise, how our bodies were created to function and how to maximize them to keep the joints healthy and the body stronger. Pat was very patient, caring, and positive.  He is lighthearted and has a way of pulling more out of you when you don’t think you can do any more.  He takes the time to research ways to make adaptations when I needed them. He texted me my homework exercises after each session so I would remember what to do.

“Every month, I felt my body becoming more flexible, joints having more mobility, and overall, more stamina. The total body pain started lessening up. I recently had follow up x-rays taken and the results blew me away. I had a 5 + degree reduction in the overall curvature of the scoliosis. That is so amazing!  My two doctors said not many people have that kind of reduction in such a short time frame. I believe by adding Kinstretch to my healing tool kit, my overall optimal health has increased as well. Whether you are someone who is dealing with health issues or you want performance enhancement, Pat will be able to design a program just for you to help you achieve your fitness goals!”

I would like to take a moment to thank Pat for the excellent training sessions he provided. Before I started training with him, I was in severe pain while walking due to knee pain. However, after attending Pat's sessions, his guidance, motivation, and tailored exercises brought a significant improvement to my condition. His coaching helped me regain my mobility, and I feel like a new person. Pat's enthusiasm and positive attitude made the experience enjoyable and engaging. He is a great instructor who is patient, clearly explains all the exercises, and takes the time to correct each individual during the sessions. I am very glad I attended his training, as it has made a huge impact on my daily life.

“I have had a consistently positive experience training with Pat. From the beginning, he demonstrated a strong understanding of fitness, and personalized the sessions to match my goals and fitness level. What stood out the most was Pat’s explanation of form and technique, which helped me avoid injuries and build strength effectively. I highly recommend Pat to anyone looking for a knowledgable, professional, and results-driven coach. His passion for what he does truly shows and it makes a big difference in the training experience.”
